Zero tolerance
What will not be tolerated
The following behaviours undermine the community and will result in a warning or removal from the cohort.
- Harassment, bullying, or discrimination of any kind
- Hate speech or offensive language
- Spam or excessive self-promotion in community channels
- Academic dishonesty or plagiarism on assignments or projects
- Disruptive behaviour during live sessions or labs
- Sharing non-public session recordings or materials outside the cohort without permission

Discord
Main community hub — announcements, questions, discussions, and peer support. Check it daily.

Official weekly updates, session reminders, and important programme communications.
When you have a question, ask it in Discord — not in a private message to an organiser. Asking publicly means your question helps everyone else who had the same one.

- Join on time and minimise distractions
- Have your notebook environment ready
- Participate actively — use chat and reactions
- Come with questions from the week's self-paced material
Every Wednesday (from Week 2)
Lab Session — 7pm–9pm WAT
On Zoom
- A hands-on support space — bring your work
- Ask questions and work through debugging together
- Get clarifications on assignments and labs
- No question is too basic. Seriously.

Support & accountability
When someone goes quiet
If a participant becomes inactive, repeatedly misses sessions, or violates these guidelines, we follow this process — starting with care, not punishment.

Friendly check-in — A team member reaches out to see if everything is okay and if there is anything we can help with.

Direct reminder and support — We follow up with resources or adjustments to help the participant re-engage.

Mentor intervention — A mentor works with the participant directly to understand barriers and find a path forward.

Final warning or removal — If the behaviour continues or guidelines are violated, the participant may be removed from the cohort.
The goal of this cohort is not just to finish a curriculum.
It is to help you think deeply, build confidently, collaborate meaningfully, and grow into a capable AI practitioner.
